Washington Mutual loan modification help
I have been laid of twice in the past two years and had expensive car repairs.  I have already had two work out programs (Forbearance and loan modification) with Washington Mutual.  In February, Washington Mutual stated the best they could do for me with the Special Forebarance is to pay double mortgage payment of $2,400.0    0 per month.  This has been a huge struggle along with the car repairs.  I can afford to pay my regular monthly payments of $1,200.00.  Please advise if you are able to assist me.  Is there any hope since I have had two other work out programs?
See above the reason for past due mortgage payments.  My situation has changed where I am back to work and earning more money than the jobs I was laid off.

We are six months behind on out mortgage. I had a repayment plan worked out with Washington Mutual, but when I sent the paperwork back with the first payment, they did not receive it. Now, they are refusing to work with me. I am desperate.
In the past eight months, we had to replace the entire heating and cooling system for our home. Additionally, we had toe replces several major appliances in our kitchen which suddenly quit working. Furthermore, my father was diagnosed with cancer and we have been trying to help him. Also, I changed jobs, withing the same organization, and had to set up a home office.

Washington Mutual Loan Modification
My loan was with Washington Mutual and I was placed on a forbearance plan. My loan was then transferred to Wells Fargo and I was then told that they did not have a record of my forbearance plan. I have been trying to process a workout plan with Wells Fargo however I\'m not getting any results. I have been told that a negotiator have not been assigned to me yet and I\'m running out of time and options.
I was out of work for about 4 months which caused me to fall behind on my payments. I am currently working a full-time job.

WASHINGTON MUTUAL LOSS MITIGATION
I WAS DISCHARGED FROM CHAPTER 13, OCTOBER 2006. MORTAGE PAYMENTS WENT UP, I RECEIVED A LETTER FROM WELLS FARGO I OWED 6,700  IN ORDER TO CATCH UP ON MY MORTAGE PAYMENTS. WASHINGTON MUTUAL WAS THE LENDER BEFORE SELLING TO WELLS FARGO.   I INQUIRE ABOUT THE LETTER, I WAS TOLD TO DISREGARD THE LETTER. BUT I WAS ALSO TOLD I OWED 2,800 BECAUSE MY MORGAGE PAYMENTS WENT UP THE PASSED SIX YEARS.
ONE TIME I SENT A PAYMENT IN BEFORE  THE SWITCH AND IT WAS RETURNED. A COUPLE OF TIMES I\'LL JUST GIVE UP AND DON'T WONT THE HOUSE BECAUSE I AM TIRED OF FIGHTING TO KEEP IT, IT JUST SEEMS NO WAY OF CATCHING UP. AND MY  DAUGHTER HAD BEEN SICK AND WAS UNABLE TO WORK AND SHE WAS PAYING SOME OF THE BILLS. SHE IS BACK AT WORK  AND WILL BE ABLE TO HELP OUT WITH THE BILLS.

My husband and I have been trying to get assistance from Wamu for three months regarding our home loan with absolutely no help. Our faxes have been lost, we have been continually told to call back, and never once dealt with the same person. We are transfered from person to person only to be hung up on after waiting for long periods of time and never once have been given consistent information. It is extremely difficult to reach anyone on the phone and we have spent hours on hold.

Two months ago we were told that our financial information we gave looks as if we qualify for assistance with keeping our home and this gave us some hope, as our mortgage payments have jumped $800.00 dollars. We make our payments on time and are not behind, but only because we have taken out loans to do so. We can not keep our home with this interest rate. After resubmitting the same information which was lost by the bank and after three months of being told to call back and our paperwork would be evaluated we are truly frustrated. After all this waiting we were then told to either sell our home or that if we were behind we can be given time to catch up. We are not behind so this advise did not apply to us, nor can we sell our home for our loan value. We were given no options. Obviously, our home's value has dropped and will continue to drop as our interest rate increases. We are scared that we will have to let our house go into foreclosure, as the payments are simply to high to afford and the value is not there to refinance. Despite the fact that we have made all of our payments on time and have a steady income and have improved our credit score we can not seem to get any real information that is helpful and have been dealing with people who just seem to simply not care and feel are situation is just being avoided.

What is truly frustrating is we were initially told when we signed our refinance papers that our loan would be fixed for five years. We were lied to and believe documents were falsified. We were then told by Wamu that our loan does not qualify for the project Hope Plan created by president Bush, as we were told our loan is not a sub-prime loan. Every bit of information I read says our loan is indeed a sub-prime loan and freezing our interest rate could help save our home until the market improves.
