i have encountered id fraud and funds removed fraudulently from bank accounts, having trouble retrieving funds from bank. payments made by checks bounced, along with many other catching up and re paying issues. I cant seem to recover fast enough, so i took out a 2nd mortgage that turned out to be a predatory type loan with payments so high i got burried even more. I fell behind in payments on the property and in the beginning everyone said they could help me, but they didn\'t. One company even had me pay for an appraisal saying I was approved and that the appraisal was all that need to be done to close the deal. Then did nothing to help me. I filed bankruptcy but it was dismissed. I'm not completely sure as to what happened there, my attorney won't return my calls, so now I am once again facing foreclosure and I do not want to lose my home. I have 3 daughters here and would like to keep it. I put down $40,000 on it from a lawsuit I settled out of court of the loss of a baby daughter in 2001 and really don\'t want to lose that money. As far as how I got here, my fiance came down ill and she did not have insurance and her meds and dr bill got high. Then there was her not being able to work and have the income we count on. Everything is back to normal, as normal as can be I guess. We have the income, its just trying to get back on our feet. I do hope you can help us. The morgage company Abn amro had somehow aquired a different current mailing address... I was not recieving any mail from them! I lost my job in at the end of June.. called and made arrangements to make all payments on August 30th.... recieved a forclosure notice 2 days before the 30th and when I called to make the payment.... they would not accept my payment! I sent in a request for reinstatement and missed the deadline by 2 days.. they will not accept the 5000.00 of back payment and legal fees they are now requiring more.

I purchased my home for $390k and have a 1st mortgage for $312k and a equity line for $40k. I have been in chapter 13 for 3 years and have been making my payments but do not recieves statements from mortgage company I have been told that two of my last payments were not recieved and have now been told that I have not been paying full amount. I am going through a custody battle to try to get full custody of my 3 daughters and I had to miss days for court and I also had to miss days of work for other court days involving my oldest daughter and Department of Human Services, and I have also had to take her to several Iowa City doctors appointments and also recently had some short hours at work, because there was no work. Mortgage company stated that the rate was no longer fixed, became adjustable, was not aware, rec\'d no info stating this until I tried to get a refinance. I called the mortgage company to get a payment history and payoff letter. took 6 mos to get this info from the mortgage co, but only after threatening legal action. in June of 2007 mortgage co sent payment back then informed me that we owed 11,000. Paid 1300.00 to a company called Fresh Start program, still don\'t have the problem resolved, and after paying the mortgage company on time every month for 31/2 they tell us to stop paying the mortgage while they resolve the issue. There is no sale date as of yet, but the only thing I\'m interested in doing is saving my home.
