I have tried since January to get a loan modification done. In April I was told a negotiator was no longer there but my loan remod was approved and was at the attorneys office being typed up. On 6/4 I had not received paperwork, I called was told my file was never reassigned, didn't know where it was and to re-fax all paperwork, told them would be a few days before I could re-fax. On 6/12 I rec'd loan mod papers with a different amount than what i had been told AND they were backdated to 4/1 showing my first payment was due 5/1. The letter from the attorney was dated 6/10. This backdated paperwork already placed me 2 payments behind. I have been calling since 6/13 requesting them to send me updated paperwork that is current and not showing me past due 2 months when received. They say only my negotiator or manager in that department can help me but I never rec a call back. In fact for the past 7 months I have never received a call back from this company. On 8/14 I received a letter stating they were placing my house in foreclosure. This letter was dated 8/4 and was not sent certified. During a phone call I did get the sale date of 10/6. We are now financially stable and are capable of making the payments they quoted on the loan modification papers. Saxon Mortgage is mortgage company. Help me with a loan modification with Saxon

I received a default letter and although Saxon Mortgage has been gracious in accepting monthly payments I am scared that they are going to get fed up and issue a foreclosure. I do not know what to expect or the process after I receive the default letter. I just paid a payment so now I am currently 2 months behind. Will the default go away and come back in September or will I stay in default? Does a default letter mean that they can take the house whenever they wish?
