I paid my morgage for 6mnths. My morgage then got sold to Countrywide. When that occured my husband injured his back and was out of work. My company also downsized and I received a 40k pay decrease. Because I was new with Countrywide they would not assist me. I stopped paying my morgage hoping to receive some assistance. My morgage then got taken over by Bank of America. I friend of mine has been going through a short sale  process with them for a year now and still no luck. I purchased it for 259k and its only worth 130k. My morgage was 2200. I can only afford to pay about 1300

I have had two surgeries this year, one week in the hospital in May & one week in the hospital in September & as a result lost my job of 11-1/2 years. My husband, is treating for cat scratch fever & was hospitalized for a week in October as he is diabetic & the infection was travelling up his arm. Since he is an over-the-road truck driver, he has not been able to work as I am too frail (down from 165 pounts to 102) to care for the household, pets & horses. Consequently we have exhausted our savings & have fallen behind in most of our bills (although I have worked out payment plans with most of our creditors, including our truck & my car). We bought our home two years ago this coming Tuesday & of course went into some debt as first time home buyers based on two incomes. We are both 70 years of age & neither of us can work at the present time. We get social security monthly & I get unemployment every other Friday which does not cover our monthly expenses. We run approximately $1,500 short every month & it is catching up with us. Our income definitely excludes a house payment. Our original lender was Tayilor, Bean & Whitaker in Orlando, which sold out to the God of banks, Bank of America. Help us sell our home in Orlando
