I have had two surgeries this year, one week in the hospital in May & one week in the hospital in September & as a result lost my job of 11-1/2 years. My husband, is treating for cat scratch fever & was hospitalized for a week in October as he is diabetic & the infection was travelling up his arm. Since he is an over-the-road truck driver, he has not been able to work as I am too frail (down from 165 pounts to 102) to care for the household, pets & horses. We bought our home two years ago this coming Tuesday & of course went into some debt as first time home buyers based on two incomes.
