My wife & I are former soldiers (Army) we purchased our first home using our VA assistance. Shortly after purchasing the home, our financial situation changed. We were both Government contractors on Ft. Benning, Ga. and the contract I was working on changed. My income decreased and we fell behind on our payments. Yes! Our financial situation has changed for the better. Our mortgage company is Chase Home Loans. We have spoken with them several times within the last month and a half. In order to keep our home, they require us to pay the total back payments. Save home from foreclosure with Chase

I moved to Charlotte, NC to take a principal's position with Charlotte-Mecklenburg Schools.  In the meantime, I was attempting to either rent or sale my previous property which is located three hours away from the home I purchased in Charlotte.  The home did not rent/sale as quickly as I wanted to and I have been paying two mortgages since moving to Charlotte.  My mortgage on my home in my former county is $1,100 per month.  My mortgage on my home in Charlotte is 1,600 per month.  As a single parent with a seven year old daughter, I have been unable to support two mortgages for the past two months due to emergency car issues as well.  The relief is that I have finally found a tenant for my former home and the family will be moving in on September 1.  I want to keep my home and want to work out a payment plan to catch up on my mortgage.  My situation has changed because a tenant will be moving into my previous home on September 1, thus relieving the stress of paying two mortgages.  My mortgage company is Chase. My husband was out of work last year for several months and we fell behind on the payments.  I worked out a repayment plan but when we found out I was pregnant and had to cut back my hours, I was told by the mortgage company that I could break the plan and apply for a lower plan.  As a result, the mortgage company has dragged their feet for 3 months and foreclosure proceedings have started.  They would also not accept any payments until a plan was set up. If we can get caught up on the mortgage and/or start fresh, we would have no problem paying the mortgage from here on out.  The company is Chase Mortgage. foreclosure refinance

I have an interest only loan with JP Morgan chase. the initial payment started at 2040.00 and is now at 2424.00. JP Morgan chase has said that this payment has gone up because of Taxes and Insurance, I\'ve asked them to remove that from my payment as their calculations are incorrect based on the research I\'ve done. This payment has increased twice in the last 2 years and is beginning to become unaffordable to me. JP Morgan Chase. They keep escalating the payment on my loan. Principal Payment 2040.00 Taxes 2350.00 annually Insurance is 785.00 annually. If you calculate principal and escrow the payment should be 2301.25 JP Morgan Chase is charging me another 123.00 a month for some reason.

I have been dealing with their loss mitigation since the spring, and they have given me the run around, but I have had assistance from the Hope Foundation, in delaying and making them work with me. I have researched the Bush plan, and they have to help, but are delaying, and saying they haven\'t received my faxes. I am about $10k back, and they have raised my payments on a $140k house to $2200 a month at 9.5% Int. I have told them I could afford no more than $1200, and am waiting to hear back. The calculators I have looked at say I should be paying less than $1000 at 7% or lower. I originally purchased my home in Oct 2006 through Resmae Mortgage, and they sold my loan to Chase, a nightmare. My credit is below 500 due to 3 layoffs in a year and being out of work for 5 months, so I had a definite reason for getting behind on this as well as, my other bills. No. Supposed to check with them tomorrow to see if the fax hit their system. My income vs expenses is better now, I have a good job and have reduced expenses, so I am positive about $500 a month if my payments are $1200 vs $2200. Chase loan modification

We aren't behind yet but we won\'t be able to make our mortgage payments.  I was laid off for 3 weeks at Thanksgiving and Christmas, had wages cut 15% and my wife just got back to work after being laid off for a total of 2 months, all of  December, two weeks in January and two weeks in February.  Our lender just won't work with us. We got our payments current with our tax returns and now we are out of options.  Our mortgage is through Chase Home Finance. We need a loan modification with Chase Home Loans

The reason we have become delinquent in our mortgage payments is loss of one house hold income. My wife got hurt at work and had to retire, she's not old enough to get retirement pay yet. And she get's no workers comp, that ended when she retired. The money she had saved to get here through has been used to help maintain mortgage payments, hoa dues, doctor bills and her personal needs is nearly gone. We did not anticipate the economy going bad or she would have to leave her job. And this property is upside down the value went down by about 65%, the builder sold unit like my for $95,000 I paid 320,000.00. At this time we do not have enough income to pay our regular monthly mortgage payment. We are concerned that we are falling further behind and will not be able to pay what is owed. We have every intention of paying what is owed, but at this time do not know how to accomplish this. Therefore, we are turning to you for assistance. We are asking for consideration to temporarily reduce or suspend our mortgage payments for a few months (or allow us to sell our home via a short sale). Doing so, would help us get back on track. Our home means a great deal to us and we desire to work with you to keep it out of foreclosure. Please advise of all options available to stop foreclosure (or initiate a short sale) at your earliest convenience. We are anxious to reach an agreement and appreciate your prompt response. No situation same as mention above. JP Chase and they do not have any information on their site.
