I am currently in a forbearance agreement with Accredited Home Lenders. I have to come up with a payment by the 16th of this month to save my house from going up for sale. I've really tried hard to turn my Business around and continue to try but till then I don't know what rights, if any that I have at this stage of the game. Ied to see if they can refi my loan to knock my payments down. But they say they don't do that and keep on trying to make my payments until I get a better payment history under my belt. I 've really tried hard to keep from being homeless and have tried looking into using my GI Bill to see if I have any options as a Vietnam Era Veteran. I have my certificate of eligability free and clear to use if there is a program out there for people in this situation. But I don't know that I don't have other options, being that I'm self employed.

The interest rate on the home jumped from 9.4% to 12.25%, Paul had a hard time finding reliable work and we can't afford the payments.
