Mortgage with AMC-got behind on payment due to dental emergency-tried to work out payment plan with AMC-they would not accept what I could pay-forclosure started-I filed chapter 13 bankruptcy but after two years ARM interest went up and unable to pay chapter 13 trustee and AMC with my income-I tried to refinance with AMC they would not allow it-I tried with many other 125% lenders-not accepted-I want to keep my house that I\'ve lived in for 47 years.
I had dental emergency and had to pay cash for my procedures-it was either pay mortgage or do dental-I was in pain and have diabetes and needed abcesses worked on to relatively save my life
My social security was not enough to afford the payments so my son moved into the home and tried to qualify for a new loan in his name. I moved in with my grandaughter. While trying to get the loan he did not pay the mortgage and did not tell me until it was several motnhs behind and too much back pay was owed.
I called AMC Mortgage and told them that my Son is willing to make payments to clear up back pay and carry on with the mortgage. They agreed but wanted $1000/mo and my son can only pay $700/mo. AMC refused to allow them to pay $700. AMC said the mortgage has already gone to the lawyer for foreclosure but I have no date or notice.
There are 2 mortgages (the second is through State Farm) on the home. The monthly payment totals $700 for both. The 2nd has not been payed either.
I am trying to get AMC to work with my Son and his wife so they can stay in the home. I have not dealt with State Farm yet.

We refomamce our home in october the boker that refinance us put us in a high interest rate loan we didn\'t know it until after closing and signing all the papers we contacted him and he told us we would only have to make one payment and he would refinance us again at a lower rate well three to four months later he finally decides to tell us that he can\'t do anything for us and our payment he has us in is way to high so we are desperately looking for someone to help refinance our mortgage at a lower rate we have never been late on our mortgage payments until now no our situaition hasn\'t changed we fell behind cause our payment alone is 3532.07 a month and that is not including house insurance or anything like that and medicial reason
AMC mortgage has raised my interest rate to 9.5% this month. I am now paying 1912.00 monthy and cant do it much longer. Unfortunatly they have forced me into a Chapter 13 to save my home, but now it looks like I will lose it anyway
I have not fallen behind on the mortgage, but am in serious jeapordy of doing so.

Town & Country (the original servicer) inflated the \'electronic\' appraisal. Said our home was worth 600k, we had a real appraisal done 2 months later and it came in at 260k. CITI is now servicing our loan, ARM resets next month and the rate will increase 2%. We can\'t afford a 2% increase and would like to try to negotiate a modification. I was unemployed for 6 months and managed to stay current on the loan by using my entire savings account
Citi Residential just took over our loan effective today, from Ameriquest.

we went with an arm and were told the rates would only change if interest rates changed. that is not how it went. our rates next month go up to 11.65% and our payment is getting to high. we have ameriquest, which just sold to citi residential lending.and we have a 2nd at celink that has a low 5% interest rate and another with the city of rochester,mn that is interest free and no payments until we sell our home. i typed help with mortagage.
